Hey Governor Romney! Were you talking about me?
Hi! My name is Eleonora, and according to Governor Romney I’m one of the 47%.
You see, I support President Barack Obama and the Democrats. According to Gov. Romney, that means I “pay no income tax” and won’t take “personal responsibility and care” for my life. Gov. Romney says I’m dependent on government and think I’m “entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.”
That would be news to my mortgage lender and my accountant.
Tell Governor Romney he’s wrong. Support Tenth Dems today.
My husband and I bought a modest house that we could afford and are actually prepaying our mortgage. We pay our bills on time, and never carry a credit card balance from month to month. The only government check we get is the one I earn when I do arbitration work for the county.
Since both of us are self-employed, we buy our own health
insurance. Sure, I had to scale back coverage. That’s because our health insurer kept reaching into our pocket, jacking up our premiums sometimes 20% a year. At that rate, the cost of health insurance was catching up to our
mortgage.
My husband and I work hard to raise our daughter to be a responsible, caring member of society. We work hard at being good neighbors and good citizens.
No, Mr. Romney. I’m not voting for President Barack Obama and the Democrats because I care about a government handout.
I’m voting for them because I care about OTHER people.
I care that their children go to good schools and drink clean water. I care that we don’t turn our planet into a toxic mess. I care that those who become ill don’t lose their homes after their health insurer denies coverage. I care that corporations like Bain Capital don’t rob workers of their jobs and then call those workers deadbeats.
I care that every American has the opportunity to earn the kind of success that matches their potential.
And because I care, I support Tenth Dems. I want to make sure that the candidates who care as I do will get elected. Join me by clicking here to contribute to the Tenth Dems.
Gov. Romney believes Americans who don’t support him are lazy, self-absorbed freeloaders. Let’s demonstrate how wrong he is.
Stand with Tenth Dems today and together we can show Mitt Romney what it looks like when Democrats take personal responsibility for protecting the values and ideals we share for our country.

If the only check you get from the Gov't is for Arbitration work, then you are not one of the 47%. The is whole piece is a sham and just propaganda for the ultra liberals. So everyone who votes for Republicans doesn't "care" about other people? What a bunch of B.S. We care about everyone today, tomorrow and for the next 100 years, which is why we focus so much on balancing the budget and forcing gov't to live within its means. The current Democratic Party will push any social program, not matter what the costs, to insure there are more voters dependent on gov't services and other "handouts". Democrats are proud of this cycle of dependency, as its the only thing that keeps their party alive..

"You see, I support President Barack Obama and the Democrats. According to Gov. Romney, that means I “pay no income tax” and won’t take “personal responsibility and care” for my life."
This is backwards and not at all what Romney said or implied.
It's hard to take this article seriously when your first premise is wildly wrong.

Yea, you care about others, like the other Illinois democrats who have cut benefits for autistic children like my son because they have to give huge raises to all the unions. You raise taxes, and spend like crazy on all the unions and drive the state broke. Now, Obama is doing the same thing to the nation. He too pretends that he cares about others but the only thing you care about is power and your own ego.
