Sallee has found a home - Maki is still available for adoption.

Maki is a very pretty brown, long-haired tabby and we hope to adopt her with her sister as they are bonded and adore one another. Maki will show you how much she appreciates your love and attention. Won't you please consider this pair for twice the fun?

Cat Adoption Information - Heartland's cat adoption fee is $100 ($200 per pair) and includes up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, neuter/spay, a FIV/FeLuek test and a free vet exam within two weeks of adoption. Slightly higher adoption fees are in effect for kittens five-months-old and younger.

Scruffy

Has been adopted.

Dog Adoption Information – Scruffy’s dog adoption fee is $225 and includes neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming and heartworm test. Puppy adoption fees are slightly higher and adoption fees for some special needs dogs are slightly lower.

Heartland Animal Shelter, at 2975 Milwaukee Ave. in Northbrook, is open from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 12-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
