Were they hidden in her cabinet?

On Aug. 21, an unknown woman left The Container Store at 101 Skokie Blvd. without paying for $295.96 worth of metal shelves, according to police.

Chicago man charged with battery. 

On Aug. 23, Northbrook police charged Muhtar Allamuradov of Chicago, age undisclosed, with battery after he inappropriately touched a woman near Willow Rd. and Shermer Rd. 

Real purse, fake ID. 

On Aug. 26, police charged Tenille Miller, 36, of Chicago, with forgery and identity theft after they say she used a stolen credit card to purchase a Chanel purse worth $3100 and Neiman Marcus gift cards worth $2000. Police say Miller also had a fraudulent driver's license. 

Honk if you stole my license plate.

On Aug. 31, someone stole both license plates and the mounting screws from a vehicle parked at a lot on 1000 block of Waukegan Rd., according to police.

Worse than a prank call.

Dominique Rucker, 20, of Chicago, was charged with harassment by telephone, according to police. On Aug. 31, Rucker called his ex-girlfriend, threatening to harm her and her family. Lincolnwood police stopped Rucker in his car, and said he told officers that "something bad would happen" if he was allowed to proceed on to Northbrook.
