Village and Park District staff met this week with the Delta Institute, the consultants working with Northbrook on the community's upcoming sustainability plan. A public survey has been placed on the Village’s website seeking input on a variety of topics related to community sustainability efforts.

Residents and businesses are strongly encouraged to participate in the survey and submit responses by September 27. People who participate before Monday, Sept. 17 will be entered into a drawing for one of two $100 gift cards to Whole Foods or REI. For questions contact Erin McMillan or Matt Harrison.

The survey can be accessed by visiting the Village’s website at www.northbrook.il.us and clicking on the link in the Latest News section on the home page.

Two community forums on the sustainability plan have been scheduled for October 3 and October 24. Both will begin at 7:00 pm, but locations have not been finalized. More information to come in the near future.
