An Original Northbrook Townie...

When Stalking Your Neighbor Doesn't Work

One day on the way home from work, you drive down your street and see a ‘for sale’ sign sitting carefully on your neighbor’s lawn.

You own the same model as the house being sold, but yours has a large family room addition.

Hmmm... curious. So, you send a text to your other neighbors asking if they know how much it is listed for. You look for the website so you can view the interior photos. You anxiously scan the open house list to see when you can get inside. In other words... you’ve become a real estate stalker.

If this sounds like you... then you will love the information that I am providing to you today.

Click here to download all the homes that sold in Northbrook.

No one will ever know!

37 years of experience and you don't know that all that information can be seen on Redfin.com? Current listings. Past sales. You sure you even know how to send a text to your neighbor to ask for the same information that's easily available online?

You're a good example of why real estate agents are obsolete.

Actually, you look 27. Meshephelous is a foolish person. I like that you provide past sales in one easy to find place. I think that dudes named Meshephelous are obsolete. LOL

Frank, she has 3 names. You have no chance.

Kati, you look 26 (see, I'm more flattering than Frank), but I had to come down on you hard for sending out a self-promoting newsletter that gives information that's in the public domain.

Meshephelous, trust me I was not trying. Do not mistake kindness for anything other than what it is. I just thought your comments were rude and obnoxious. There is no recovery from your calling her career obsolete. I will give credit to anyone who makes an effort to promote their business in our town. If you don't like it, keep your opinions to yourself. Especially when they are rude. I wonder if you know how to send a text to your neighbor...I am quite sure they would respond in saying that you are a putz.
