Enjoy an energizing start to your day with YMCA Sunrise Yoga at the Northbrook Farmers Market. Beginning July 11, North Suburban Y yoga instructors will lead groups on the lawn adjacent to the market every Wednesday morning at 7:15. No registration required; just bring your mat and join in! The Farmers Market is held at Our Lady of the Brook, 3700 Dundee Road, Northbrook. (Note: beginning August 22, the Farmers Market will move to the Northbrook United Methodist Church, 1190 Western Avenue.) For market information, visit www.olbparish.org. More About Our Lady of The Brook
Unlike a typical Catholic church, Our Lady of the Brook has chairs for worshipers rather than pews or kneelers. The multi-use "worship center" on Dundee also includes a social area and a religious education wing. Masses are offered on Sundays at 8am, 9:30am and 11:15am.
On Wednesdays from mid-June to mid-October, "The Brook" hosts a farmers' market in its parking lot from 7am to 1pm. Vendors come from as far as Michigan and Indiana, and shoppers can find everything from produce to baked goods, cheeses and specialty meats.
