Northbrook Farmers Market 2012 Opens June 20
Northbrook Farmers Market opens its 4th season Wednesday, June 16, with the traditional 9:30 a.m. Watermelon Cutting Ceremony presided by Village President Sandy Frum and hosted by Ron Bernardi, Sunset Foods.
Join us for other fun activities: performances by Northbrook Community Choir; Sunset popcorn wagon; seed-planting and craft projects for kids; RC Juggles
balloon animals; police and fire department vehicles to tour; and plenty of farm fresh produce and other artisan items for sale. There are never any fees to participate in the programs.
The market is open 7 am. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays, June 20 to Oct. 10, rain or shine, except in severe weather, in the Our Lady of the Brook Church parking lot, 3700 Dundee

More About Our Lady of The Brook
Unlike a typical Catholic church, Our Lady of the Brook has chairs for worshipers rather than pews or kneelers. The multi-use "worship center" on Dundee also includes a social area and a religious education wing. Masses are offered on Sundays at 8am, 9:30am and 11:15am.
On Wednesdays from mid-June to mid-October, "The Brook" hosts a farmers' market in its parking lot from 7am to 1pm. Vendors come from as far as Michigan and Indiana, and shoppers can find everything from produce to baked goods, cheeses and specialty meats.
