Shabbat Under the Stars – Picnic and Family Service
Temple Beth-El's annual "Shabbat Under the Stars" will be held on Friday, August 24. As a TBE tradition begun many years, this event is now held in our beautiful garden on our Temple grounds. You are invited at 6:00 pm to bring a picnic dinner, blanket or lawn chair. We provide beverages and an ice cream oneg. At 7:00 pm, join Rabbi Sidney Helbraun, Cantor Harris and Rabbi Toby Manewith in song and prayer outside for our Family Shabbat Service Under the Stars. We invite the community to join us; rain or shine.

More About Temple Beth-El
One of the oldest congregations in the Chicago area, Temple Beth-El has served its community since 1873. It provides a variety of worship services; some are geared toward families with children, others more traditional, mixing Hebrew and English readings and worship songs, as well as less formal minyan services.
