Thursday is the last night of the 2013 bicycle racing season at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome in Meadowhill Park. That is the last chance this year to experience the thrill of high-speed cycle racing in Northbrook. Races begin at 7:00 p.m. The spectator fee is $2 for ages 12-adult; children under 12 are free.Weather reports say temperatures will start cooling down tomorrow and into the weekend, so you might want to bring an extra sweater for the Thursday night's race.
