From professional athletes to weekend warriors, Dr. Jeff Schwan has worked with a wide range of individuals seeking to maximize their physical potential and alleviate pain.

And on Thursday, Aug. 22, he will be leading a seminar, Move Better!, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Five Seasons Family Sports Club, 1300 Techny Road in Northbrook. During the session, he will address what functional health means and what makes an exercise functional.

With Move Better!, Schwan will teach how to let your workouts work for you, the elements of functional exercise as well as how they can teach you to use your body as it was intended.

“This presentation will help those suffering with any pain. Many times people hurt because
they move poorly and have never known it,” Schwan said. “If you are an active person and want to find out if your exercise program is holding you back or simply are looking for new exercises to spice up your routine, this is the talk for you.”

Schwan graduated valedictorian from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, then became a board certified Chiropractic Sports Physician through the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians.

To register for the seminar, please contact Joe Bechtold of Five Seasons at 847-897-5050. The club is online at www.facebook.com/FiveSeasonsNorthbrook.
