Northbrook Bluehawks' Travel Teams Achieve Success at Weekend Tournaments

The Northbrook Bluehawks' youth hockey teams traveled to tournaments across the Midwest last weekend. And no matter where they went, it seemed as though the Bluehawks were the team to beat!

The Bluehawks' Peewee AA team (the club's top team for 11 and 12 year-olds) won the Rock & Roll Cup in Cleveland, Ohio with a dramatic overtime win in the championship game. Meanwhile, the club's Squirt AA team (its top team for 9 and 10 year-olds) swept its way through the round-robin before taking 2nd Place in its age bracket in Cleveland. The Bluehawks' Bantam AA team (its top team for 13 and 14 year olds) also took 2nd place in Cleveland.

The Bluehawks' Mite AA team (the top team for 7 and 8 year-olds) took first place in the Big Chill Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The club's Peewee A3 team also won its age-bracket in Ann Arbor.

In Nashville, Tennessee, the Bluehawks' Peewee A team took second place.

The Northbrook Bluehawks are part of the Northbrook Hockey League, a community-based organization that offers learn-to-play, recreational house league hockey and competitive travel hockey programs for boys and girls ages 4 and up. For more information, visit http://www.NorthbrookBluehawks.org.
