Patch restaurant reviewer Bill Burman offers a roundup of Northbrook restaurants who are serving meals to be thankful for this Thursday.

For the very first time, this Northbrook institution serves up a Thanksgiving meal. Between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., classic Thanksgiving offerings such as turkey and sausage stuffing are on offer for $34.95 per person. It wouldn't be Ruth's without a twist, though: lobster and filet mignon can sub in for turkey for just $10 more.

My Pie and L'il Guys
1361 Shermer Rd.
847-715-9009

OK, so some of the above options might overwhelm in the price department. My Pie and L'il Guys come to the rescue with dinner for four for $79.95, or less than $20 apiece for a family of four. The package includes Sliced Slow-Roasted Herb-Seasoned Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, as well as a few elective sides such as Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallow Topping. They'll be available at the store between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.
