Addison is a gorgeous 3-year-old Maine Coon mix who is very content to lie at your side and be petted. She's sweet and friendly and loves to watch the birds out the window. Recently, she had a litter of three kittens. She also readily accepted a stray and raised all the kittens together. She's a tidy kitty who keeps the area around her food very clean and always uses her litter box. Now that her motherly duties are behind her, she longs to be pampered in a forever home. Adoption Information- In celebration of National Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month, Heartland's cat adoption fee is $90. The adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming, FIV/Feline Leukemia test, and a microchip.
Heartland Animal Shelter, at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook, is open from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 12-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. More animals available for adoption can be found at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net.
