Don't Miss: Italian Beef. Chef Andrew "Kappy" Kaplan, who blogs for Rachael Ray, rated it No. 1 in the city. Also, try the Merktz Bacon Cheeseburger, with a hand-formed patty.
The Vibe: Casual.
Cool Factor: Yes, it's in a strip mall, but you'll get the same great food as the location on Peterson, which founder Mickey Becker opened in 1967.
