IDOT Announces 2014 Northbrook Road Projects

The Cook County Department of Transportation & Highways (CCDoTH) anounced plans to resurface Sanders Road between Techny Road and Lake Cook Road in 2014. Traffic will be maintained throughout this project.

In addition, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is scheduled to remove and replace the box culvert for the Middle Fork North Branch crossing at Dundee Road (near the corner of Dundee and Lee roads). This project is expected to begin in the summer of 2014 and last for about two to three months.

Construction will require a closure of Dundee Road and the tentative detour route is Waukegan Road to Lake-Cook Road to Skokie Boulevard. Additional details regarding these projects, and the length of the Dundee Road closure, will be shared as they become available.
