Donate or Shop: Party Dress Project to Benefit Willow House This Year

A charitable dress drive and shopping event to be held at Autohaus on Edens

NORTHBROOK, IL˗˗˗ Philanthropy is always in style! Every girl loves to shop, and what better way than to find a dress deal that helps someone in need than at the Party Dress Project Boutique at Autohaus on Edens on Sunday, October 14. Add new pieces to your collection by shopping through the Party Dress Project Boutique’s fabulous selection of new and gently used dresses for only $25 that goes directly to charity.

If your closet is full you can still help Party Dress Project. “The extra dresses you have hanging in your closet can be put to use by donating them to us, and allowing the dress to share more memories,” said Stacy Simpson of the Party Dress Project. Bring your dress donations to Autohaus on Edens by October 13th. Besides giving a dress another lease on the party life…donors will receive a tax deduction. Additional drop off locations can be found at www.partydressproject.org.

The Party Dress Project accepts gently used, short teen party dresses from Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Confirmations, Dance Classes, Graduations, Dances, etc. for donations to create a greater selection of dresses. The Party Dress Project Boutique is an exciting event filled with your favorite shopping routines, such as dress trying, buying the perfect fit, refreshments to refuel your shopping energy, and exciting raffle prizes such as spa services and local gift and clothing boutique gift certificates.

“The Party Dress Project has made such a powerful impact on smaller non-profits on the North Shore including A Safe Place – an organization that I am on the board of.  They walked in one day and handed us a check for over $10,000.  I am thrilled to help them grow the event in the larger space of the Mercedes showroom at Autohaus Edens so they can continue to support the smaller nonprofits including this years partner, The Willow House,” says Michael Rosengarden, President of Autohaus on Edens.
