Get Out: Armenian Fest, 'Water For Elephants'

This weekend's events include a festival at the Armenian All Saints Apostolic Church in Glenview and a screening of the Robert Pattinson-Reese Witherspoon flick at the library.

Make friends and learn to play golf from with on-course coaching from the Northbrook Golf Academy and  Girls Golf Team. All levels welcome; ages 5-16.

When/Where: 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13; Why Go: Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon star in this romance about a veterinary student who abandons his studies and joins a traveling circus.

Internationally trained classical guitarist Adam del Monte is known for his creative compositions that combine elements of flamenco, tango, Sephardic and Moorish chants and contemporary Brazilian jazz.

Why Go: Acclaimed singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright performs alongside the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for the first half of the show, then returns for a second half with the songs fans have come to know him for.
