Get Out: Free Movie In the Park, Pro Biking In Glencoe

Don't-miss events this weekend include a free movie on the Village Green and Glenview's Summer Festival.


When/Where:
6:30-10 p.m., Saturday, June 25;
Why Go: Enjoy a movie outdoors with the kids as well as games, music and inflatables. While you’re there, pick up some food from or buy some ice cream from to support the Northbrook Fourth of July Association.
Pricing: Free to attend; food purchases benefit Fourth of July Association.

Why Go: While you wait for our very own Northbrook Days in August, check out Glenview’s Summer Festival to see how it stacks up. The 38th annual event promises lots of booths with artwork, merchandise and food, plus live entertainment and raffles. If you stop by the Patch booth, we’d love to say hello!

7:15 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, June 25; Why Go: Top pro cyclists from around the area race down Glencoe streets. In addition to a day full of amateur races, Glencoe is hosting the Illinois State Criterium Championship for the first time.
