Patch Pets: LACEY

Each week, we feature cats and dogs available for adoption from Heartland Animal Shelter in Northbrook.

You've heard the rhyme, "Three little kittens lost their mittens"?  Well, Lacey is a 2-1/2-year-old mom cat who lost her three kittens to loving, adoptive homes. She's okay with it, though, and is ready for a home of her own. This darling tuxedo girl is the most loving cat ever! She gets along with everyone, humans and cats, alike. She cuddles so nicely on your lap, purrs instantly, and is very affectionate. She knows how to give kisses, too! Lacey enjoys playing hide-and-seek in boxes and paper bags. Chasing a cat teaser and playing with toys are activities high up on her list of fun things to do, as well. Lacey has an endless amount of love to give and would be thrilled to receive some in return. Wouldn't Lacey be the "purrfect" little girl for you?

Adoption Information- Heartland's cat adoption fee of $ 100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming, FIV/Feline Leukemia test, and a microchip.  Kitten adoption fees are slightly higher and reduced rates are often offered for special needs cats.

Heartland Animal Shelter, at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook, is open from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 12-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  More animals available for adoption can be found at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net.
