Northbrook Golf Range, Skate Park Now Open
Weather permitting, the Sportsman's Country Club practice golf range and Techny Prairie's skate park are now open for the season.
It’s beginning to feel like spring around here!
The Practice Range at Sportsman’s Country Club opened for business this week, as did the Skate Park in Techny Prairie Park and Fields.
The hours of the Practice Range are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting. The address is 3535 Dundee Road. An automated ball-dispenser accepts credit cards and prepaid cards; golfers also can obtain a pin code from the cashier.

The Skate Park welcomes skateboarders and in-line skaters from sunrise to 10:00 p.m., weather permitting. The Skate Park is free and open to everyone, but children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets and other protective equipment are required. The park is located at 1750 Techny Road.
