Currently the eighth best seller in Amazon's motherhood category, Alpert's book also has a five star average with 406 reviews.
Earlier this year, Alpert contributed an essay to a collection of short stories about parenting called I Just Want To Pee Alone.
Alpert says she earned a following of engaged readers by posting rich content often — her biweekly posts range from about 1,000 to 1,500 words — being nice to people online and connecting with fans on Facebook.
"I'm very open and self-deprecating a lot," she said. "I think people appreciate that I'm willing to reveal my flaws."
