According to the NWSC, periods of snow will be heavy at times and continue into the early evening before tapering off. “This will have a large impact on the evening rush,” the NWSC said.

The storm warning will remain in effect until midnight and estimated accumulation totals are at four to eight inches of snow, possibly higher, according to the NWSC.

Other impacts?

“This snow composition is of the heavy, wet nature, which can be an extra strain to shovel,” the NWSC said. “It will also create added weight on power lines leading to possible power outages.”
