Winter Won't Stop Willow Road Construction
Despite a two week holiday break, crews will continue working on Willow Road construction through the winter.
Crews will continue working on the Willow Road construction project between the Edens and Waukegan Road during the winter, according to the construction project's status blog.
A two week holiday shutdown will run from Dec. 20 to Jan. 6, when no work will take place.
After the holidays, weather permitting, crews will resume work on street repavement and sewer improvements.
