American Idol's Haley Reinhart Makes Hometown Visit

Reinhart, who is among the top three contestants on American Idol this season, came home for a parade and concert on Saturday.

Just a couple days after making the cut to be among the top three contestants on American Idol, Haley Reinhart came home for a tour and performance.

The 20-year-old Wheeling native made her first stop Saturday , where she hugged fans and signed autographs in the cold. Next, Reinhart  speaking before a crowd of hundreds at her former high school. In the afternoon, Reinhart to Village Hall, where Village President Judy Abruscato declared the day "Haley Reinhart Day" in her honor. 

“We are all so proud of Haley, and so impressed with her talents,” Wheeling Village President Judy Abruscato said in a press release. “This hometown visit is an  outstanding opportunity for the whole Wheeling community to show the world all the great things happening here in our village.  Her success has truly been an inspiration to all of us!”

Reinhart's tour concluded with a sold-out concert at Arlington Park.
