"Alice in Wonderland, Jr." Spring Musical at Field Middle School

Field School to Present “Alice in Wonderland, Jr.” on March 16-17

The community is invited to Field Middle School’s spring musical production of “Alice in Wonderland, Jr.” on Friday, March 16, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, March 17, at 2 p.m. in the school auditorium located at 3131 Techny Road in Northbrook.  Tickets are available for a donation of $5 for adults and $2 for students and seniors either in advance at the Field School Office or at the door on the day of the performance.  Seats are unreserved. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

“Alice in Wonderland, Jr.” is the student version of this popular Broadway award-winning musical. The play features and involves more than 50 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students in all facets of the production. The student cast includes: Miranda Koulegeorge – Alice, Samara Kohn – Caterpillar, Molly Sauser – Cheshire Cat 1, Manisha Singham – Cheshire Cat 2, Isaac Weinberg – Cheshire Cat 3, Erin Henschel – White Rabbit, Bianca Gruzmark – Queen of Hearts, Ray Hurssey – King of Hearts, Trey Kaunert – Tweedle Dee, Will Kardasis –Tweedle Dum, Sofie Schwartz – Mathilda, Randy Borre – Mad Hatter, Matt Silver –March Hare, Patrick An – Dodo Bird, Austin Kipershtein – Doorknob, Leyla Silic –
Rose, Edwina Li – Daisy, Alice Song – Petunia, Rachel Rosenberg – Lily, Mira Joy Josaiah – Violet,  Julie Ivanov – Poppy, Bonnie Puppala – Lilac, Nilsa Rodriguez – Poppy, Irene Chung – Ace of Spades, Julia Jakubiak – Two of Clubs, Sofie Schwartz – Three of Diamonds, Aaron Berkowitz – Nine of Hearts, and Jenny Lee, Rebecca Spector, Tadhg O’Connor and Asheley Puig – Rock Lobsters.

The spring musical’s production staff includes Lisa Klein, producer; Case Carvell, musical director; Paula Delehanty, art director/stage manager; and Mary Matan, technical director.

All the sets and costumes for the spring musical were created by student artists, under the direction of art teacher Paula Delehanty.  The student art crew includes:  Coco Yang – costume designer, Senad Mehmedovic – master painter, Anna Wasilszuk– hair and makeup designer, Jidapa Thia, Hellen Zuniga, Rebecca Lim, Michele Anderson, Angelina Yoon, Soomin Jeon, Edwina Li,
Lisa Lee, Irene Chung, Leyla Silic, Julia Jukubiak and Hwa Oh.
