The public is invited to a free opening reception for artists Joanne Salvator and Lowell Goone who are exhibiting their paintings at Celebrating Experience: A Gallery of Art by Older Adults. Come mingle with the artists, enjoy drinks and refreshments, and enter a free raffle drawing!
The gallery is located at Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes (SASI), a community nonprofit that helps adults who, due to aging, illness or injury, need assistance in the home.
SASI is at the NE corner of Emerson & Ridge in Evanston, in the professional building above the retail shops. Coming from the N via Sheridan, go S on Ridge, turn left into the parking lot at Emerson. From the S, take Ridge to Emerson to the parking lot. Free, limited lot and street parking; the building is handicapped accessible.

All art is available for sale, with 20% of the proceeds donated to SASI. Ongoing visiting hours are Wednesdays and Fridays, 11-4, or by appointment. The exhibit ends May 11, 2012.
