Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols

Experience the Christmas story at St. Giles Episcopal church in Northbrook at 4 pm on Sunday, December 19. Nine biblical lessons will be interspersed with carols and choir anthems, so come to listen, sing and enjoy a casual reception after the service.

Our service is inspired by a Christmas Eve Festival introduced at King's College Chapel in 1918 to bring a more imaginative approach to worship.

Special music includes works by Dawson, Ferko, Handel, Howells, Martin, Mathias, Pinkham, Rutter, & Scheidt.
