Harmonizers show the basics of barbershop singing

Ever wanted to sing barbershop music? Let the North Shore Harmonizers show you how it’s done. The Harmonizers, an independent women's a cappella chorus in the barbershop tradition, will hold a rehearsal and performance from 7-9pm on Thursday, May 3, at the Northbrook Library, 1201 Cedar. The Harmonizers wants to show people how much fun and rewarding four-part, barbershop singing can be.

Celebrating its 60th-anniversary year, the Harmonizers perform at their own public concerts, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers' markets during the summer. For more information about the Harmonizers, visit www.northshoreharmonizers.org.
