Northbrook Farmers Market Seeks Best Pie-Baker in Town
Northbrook Farmers Market is hosting a fruit-pie baking contest Wednesday, July 6, for amateur bakers of all ages. 
Pies must be made from scratch, and use only in-season fruits and berries. Pies will be judged by professional chefs based on overall flavor, appearance, texture and creativity. 
The winner will receive a complete dinner for two, including glass of wine and dessert, at Maestro Seafood & Grill in Northbrook, (gratuity not included). 
Entry forms must be received by June 29. The form and contest  rules can be picked up at the Hospitality Booth on market days or by downloading at www.olbparish.org.  Completed entry forms may be sent to Ginny Hartzer at vmhartz@aol.com or 2660 Canterbury Drive Northbrook, IL 60062.
