‘Coastal-Style’ Homes Proposed on Dundee Road
Northbrook-based KZF Development is proposing to build 24 single-family houses at 3895-3955 Dundee Road, Chicago Tribune reported.
Three years ago when Northbrook-based KZF Development purchased property on Dundee Road the company planned 14 houses on the property but now it’s proposing a denser development with 24 single-family houses, Chicago Tribune reported.
The proposed homes at 3895-3955 Dundee Road would be “costal-style” that are on average 2,500 square feet with front porches to encourage neighborhood interaction, according to Steve Friedman, co-owner of the firm, Chicago Tribune reported.
In April another developer also proposed small, single-family homes clustered around a communal lawn for the vacant lot at 2600 Dundee Road. Omaha-based Essex Corp. proposed building eight small houses in a cottage-style housing that’s been popular on the West Coast.
