Dailey Method at Willow Festival Now Open

The 2,800 square foot facility at Willow Festival offers cycle fitness along with the brand's proprietary one-hour fitness class.

On Friday, The Dailey Method at Willow Festival held a ribbon cutting ceremony, officially opening the doors to the second North Shore location of the Dailey Method.

The new studio offers a 2,800 square foot first-floor space, offering The Dailey Method’s proprietary one-hour fitness class — combining athletic ballet barre work, core conditioning, stretching. and orthopedic exercises in an encouraging class environment.

The new studio also features Dailey Cycle in The Dailey Method’s signature group setting. Dailey Cycle offers clients an additional option for a low impact, heart rate lifting exercise with a high caloric burn.

The Dailey Method Northbrook owners, Leanne Kurtzweil and Katy Kerr, are seasoned fitness instructors who began working in Chicago’s first Dailey Method studio when it opened in 2009.

“Since being a part of this fitness community, clients consistently tell us the positive impact both our challenging classes and encouraging studio environment has had on their lives," Kurtzweil said in a press release. "The changes can be seen in improved physical appearance, better posture and increased self-confidence."

The Dailey Method’s first North Shore location opened to rave reviews in August 2011 in Kenilworth, voted as The North Shore’s “Best Challenge Workout” in 2012 by Make It Better magazine.
