Speck dell'Alto Adige is one of the best-known foods from the region; it is pork preserved through gentle smoking, followed by the crunchy Schüttelbrot, so-called because it is shaken flat. Other specialties of the region include the tasty Stelvio and Dolomiten König cheeses. Stelvio is a cow's milk cheese from the Stelvio Valley in Alto Adige that has been made in the region for hundreds of years, while Dolomiten König is is a noble, soft-textured cheese characterized by full flavor and unmistakable holey texture; it is aged for two months.

All three specialties, among others, will be a part of the upcoming demonstration and for sale at the store.
