Fong's Cantonese Closes Its Doors

The Chinese restaurant shut down after 45 years in business, according to the Sun-Times.

After 45 years in business, Northbrook restaurant Fong's Famous Cantonese has shut its doors.

The restaurant was the first Chinese eatery in Northbrook, the Sun-Times reports.

"It’s not the end of my career,” owner Chun Yui “Philip” Fong told the Sun-Times. “It might be the start of something new."
