Kids' Athletic Program Coming to Northbrook Field House

The Northbrook Field House will be Fit 4 Kids' first permanent home, since the organization was formed in 2003.

Fit 4 Kids, a group that organizes athletic programs for children in Illinois will soon settle down at the Field House activity center, 2710 Old Willow Rd. in Northbrook.

"We've been running programs all over Illinois for over 10 years and are excited to be at a fixed location that we can call our home," Steve Kogen, Fit 4 Kids' founder, wrote in an email.

Fit 4 Kids was formed in 2003 and has spent the last 10 years taking programs to schools, park districts and child care centers in Illinois. The Field House will be their first permanent space, offering kids 5,000 sq feet of room for games such as noodle tag and life size Angry Birds.

Kogen says the programs will run weekdays from 9:00 .m. to 3:00 p.m. for kids ages 2 to 6. Programs cost between $200 and $300 for 18 to 22 weeks.
