Northbrook's Hi-Five Sports Club Hopes to Build New Indoor Training Center

Northbrook trustees recently reviewed a proposal for an indoor youth sports center at 1855 Janke Dr., Chicago Tribune reported.

Northbrook-based Hi-Five Sports Clubs Inc., which offers sports training for children, recently submitted a special permit application to establish its headquarters and a new indoor training center at 1855 Janke Dr., Chicago Tribune reported.

The sports club proposed taking up 9,800 square feet of the 17,000-square-foot building to build an indoor turf field, office space and a party room, and hopes to open in fall if village trustees approve the proposal, the newspaper reported.

The organization’s headquarters is currently at 707 Skokie Blvd., and has offices in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Scottsdale, according to the company’s website.

Hi-Five Sports Club was founded in 1990 and offers camps,  Jr. NBA, WNBA, Lil' Kickers, NFL Flag Football, Kinder Club, and private parties and events.
