Trattoria Oliverii Voted Best Mother's Day Brunch

just edged out in our poll on the best spot for Mother's Day brunch in Northbrook. 

Oliverii's had six votes to the five votes placed for Allgauer's, with 16 readers voting altogether. While the restaurant is not doing a special Mother's Day brunch, a waitress told Patch that they do offer breakfast seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Omelettes, pancakes, French toast and frittata, among other items, round out the menu.

"It's the basic American fare," the waitress said. "The eggs benedict and the eggs Florentine are excellent."

Next week, Patch is looking for your opinion on the best "staycation" destinations. The voting begins at 9 a.m. on Monday.
