Northbrook Resident Authors Article in Illinois Bar Journal

Grant T. Swinger, of Northbrook, Chief of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office’s Military & Veterans’ Rights Bureau, and a judge advocate in the Illinois Army National Guard, is the author of “A Guide to the Illinois Service Member Civil Relief Act,” an article which appears in the September 2013 issue of the Illinois Bar Journal, the monthly magazine of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA).

In the article, the author explains how the Illinois Service Member Civil Relief Act works, which provides a range of consumer legal protections to service members, designed to protect them while called to duty.

The 32,000-member ISBA (isba.org), with offices in Springfield and Chicago, provides professional services to Illinois lawyers, and education and services to the public through a website (illinoislawyerfinder.com), consumer brochures, and distribution of legal information.
