PediaTrust Appoints Kathleen McTigue as Executive Director

PediaTrust today announced the appointment of Glenview resident, Kathleen McTigue, to the position of executive director. PediaTrust is a new partnership of seven pediatric practices consisting of 39 physicians/providers located in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago.  

Leveraging her 25 years of experience dedicated to pediatric medicine, her primary responsibilities in her new role will be to build the operations for PediaTrust’s network, as well as drive its growth and expansion.

McTigue has served in a variety of pediatric health care positions on the clinical side treating patients, as well as on the operations side building business. She joined PediaTrust after seven years with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago where she successfully served as executive director for the Children’s Community Physicians Association  (CCPA).  CCPA is comprised of private pediatric practitioners affiliated with Lurie Children’s throughout a nine county Chicago metro region. Prior to CCPA, McTigue successfully led strategic planning, operations and service integration for numerous departments within Alexian Brothers Health System and Advocate Health Care/Lutheran General Chlidren’s Hospital.

PediaTrust formed in October 2012 and is head quartered in Northbrook, IL.  Recognizing strength in numbers, the founding practices joined to achieve common goals – to remain independent and to preserve the patient care excellence they had achieved individually.  Within PediaTrust, the practices integrated their operations, as well as their patient care philosophies and treatment models, which are directly responsible for their nearly three decades of success.
