There are many superlatives to describe the talent of the 2012 freshman baseball class and Mr. Ryan Graham and his staff felt privileged to work with them. Both the A and B teams’ experienced great success this season compiling impressive statistics and outstanding records. The (A) team finished 25-8 and earned co-champion honors in the CSL-North division. Their record in conference was a strong 12-4. The (B) team had a 20-9 record and was strong throughout the season.
When asked to speak about this group of players, Coach Graham had these words to say. “They played fundamental baseball consistently throughout the entire season. A key component of baseball is a player and team’s mentality and this squad did a great job handling tough situations. They made necessary adjustments when necessary to be successful.”
As Coach Graham gave his concluding remarks following the last game of the season, he told the players they have an opportunity to be a special group if they work hard in the off-season. He also stressed the importance of staying hungry to improve their abilities and together they could have great success at the sophomore and varsity levels.

Playing for the 2012 Freshman A team this season were: Danny Ahern, Brice Call, Sage Bruhl, David Burnside, Matt Tedeschi, Brandon Labunski, Jared Epstein, Peter Witty, Harrison Solano, Robert Stocking, Justin Tucker, Jake Rabin, Sam Nyren, and Adam Wagner. The team’s assistant coach was Coach Kyle Kmiciek.
