Gear for Goals (G4G) Provides Sports Equipment to Bolivian Children

Gear for Goals (G4G) Providing Sports Gear to Bolivian Children

Gear for Goals (G4G) is happy to announce they have partnered with local Chicago charity Gift in Kind to provide sports equipment to over 500 children in Bolivia.  Working with Gift in Kind, Gear for Goals (G4G) is aiding their international effort in Bolivia to help provide resource for schools and local community centers.  Gift in Kind has provided over 250,000 pounds of valuable resource to Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Costa Rica over the past four years.

While Gift in Kind has been successful in sending medical and school supplies, play grounds, pianos, clothes, and other resources they have not had a significant partner to provide sporting goods for children.  Now, Gear for Goals based in Northbrook will be a major source for sporting equipment and musical instruments in their overseas mission work.  Gear for Goals (G4G) is a project of international charity, Dreamweaver International, which has offices in Kenya and Chicago.

Dr. Warren Bruhl, who is one of the founding directors of Gear for Goals, has been working with several local business professionals in developing this unique charitable program to international destinations and Chicago.  Throughout 2012 and into 2013, Gear for Goals has provided sports equipment to over 2,500 children while building an international footprint of aid.  Gear for Goals will be providing a large quantity of donated sports equipment in upcoming travel containers for Gift in Kind to the Dominican Republic and El Salvador later this year.  Plans are being developed by their leadership team to expand to over 70 countries with other local compassion partners.
