Sport for Africa with Gear for Goals "One Gives One" Campaign

Over the past week while many of my friends and family have shivered and dealt with the cold in Chicago, our team has enjoyed the temperate weather of the Kenyan bush country.  While here we have journeyed to remote villages to share chiropractic, medical, and emergency health care services.  We have educated children with tablet computers and provided baseball, soccer, basketball, and jump ropes to children who literally have no play.

Laughter and joy have been evident on every child's face and renewed hope has further come alongside our journey with each passing day and the wonderful people we come to know and value here.  Coming on this trip, team members Austin Bruhl, Todd Love Ball Jr., and Dr. Jeff Kahrs have more than pulled their weight with strong service and love to thousands while here.  One of the highlights of this trip has been the incredible soccer balls provided through local purchases in the United States.  When a generous purchase is made for a child in the US, a donation of soccer ball occurs.  For baseballs, we donate 4 for every dozen purchased.  To learn more about this campaign visit g4gsports.org

We look forward to our return to Chicago at the end of this week.
