3D Printer Coming to Northbrook Library
The several thousand dollar machine will be added along with other digital upgrades coming to the library this summer.
The Northbrook Public Library is spending an annual $34,000 grant on technological updates such as a 3D printer, new Apple computers and digital editing software, coming to the library around the end of June, the Chicago Tribune reports.
"We're looking more at places where people can create content, whether digital or otherwise, rather than just a storehouse," Eric Robbins, the library's assistant director told the Tribune.
