Evening Storm Knocks Out Power To 1,500 in Northbrook

A thunderstorm Thursday night left many powerless.

A ComEd circuit supplying power to parts of Northbrook, Northfield, Glenview and Deerfield was affected by last night’s storm, causing an outage to 1,500 customers in Northbrook, officials said today.

As of 7 a.m. this morning, the number of customers without power was down to 84, according to the village website

Northbrook is still reeling from to roughly one third of the village Tuesday, June 21, and as much as four days later.
