Cooking with Dried Goods – a hands on class
Tuesday March 25th @ 6-8pm
$7 per take home meal
This class will cover the basics of, buying, preparing, and serving dried grains, beans and legumes. In addition to a tour of our bulk department you will have to opportunity to taste several of the grains we sell, as well as create take home dishes. We will have two types of dishes you can create: fresh grain dishes ready to eat as well as dried soup and stew mixes. Make both and have healthy, filling meals for this week or the future! Intro to Cake Decorating - a hands on class

Join us for a fun filled night about the basics of cake decorating! This class is perfect for anyone who has ever been interested in decorating at home, or if you are a veteran looking to brush up on your skills! This class will cover the basics of piping, writing, making flowers and working with fondant. You will leave with 3 of your own cupcake creations as well as recipes and knowledge to replicate everything at home! Registration required at our Customer Service desk (847)205-5353.
Whole Planet Foundation Drive
February 19th –March 31st
Started in 2005, Whole Planet Foundation was born out of Whole Foods Market’s desire to address the persistent problem of world poverty and hunger. The Whole Planet Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating poverty in developing countries. The Whole Planet mission is to create economic partnerships through microloans to contribute to the economic well-being of the communities where we source our products. Microloans are offered to finance self-employment projects that will generate income and allow individuals to escape poverty so that they can provide food and shelter for themselves, their families and their communities.
Whole Planet Foundation Weekend

$15 donation towards WholeTrivia will begin at 7:30.$15 donation to The Whole Planet Foundation includes a beer, or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice, with commemorative Whole Planet Foundation pint glass.
You think you have the best trivia mind around? Join us for an awesome trivia night and prove you deserve the title of trivia master! Come solo or as part of a team. For every participant, we will add $5 to the grand prize gift card. The more the merrier and the bigger the jackpot! Make the night complete by ordering some delicious food from our smokehouse. 100% of the proceeds for this event will benefit the Whole Planet Foundation and help invest in a future without poverty.

Enjoy Latin American street food and help celebrate the culture of countries that benefit from the Whole Planet Foundation’s microloans. All proceeds will be donated to the Whole Planet Foundation.

Join us in the Lifestyle Center to help end poverty with the Whole Planet Foundation! For small donations you can: tie – dye a shirt, get your face painted, or make a mask. This foundation gives out microloans to mostly women in poverty stricken areas. The microloans help build business and lift families and communities out of poverty. This event welcomes the young, as well as the young at heart, and 100 % of the proceeds go to the Whole Planet Foundation. No registration necessary. Let’s get creative and help invest in a future without poverty!
