AUTHOR TO BRING INSIGHT ON AGING AND FAITH

Author Missy Buchanan will discuss “Aging Faithfully — Finding Purpose in Later Life” when she presents at Covenant Village of Northbrook on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. Covenant Village is located at 2625 Techny Rd., Northbrook.

Buchanan is the author of four books including “Don’t Write My Obituary Just Yet: Inspiring Faith Stories for Older Adults,” which won an Indie Excellence Book Award. Buchanan’s humorous presentation on aging and faith will offer fresh ways to think about growing older and growing in faith.

In addition to her books, Buchanan writes the monthly column “Aging Well” for the United Methodist Reporter, www.UMportal.org. She has appeared on Good Morning America, is a regular contributor to www.MininistryMatters.org, and has written for many other publications including Mature Living, Mature Years and the Dallas Morning News.
