Congregation Beth Shalom to Celebrate Jewish Disabilities Awareness Month

Beth Shalom welcomes Michelle Friedman, author of the book "Close Your Eyes". She will be speaking to Hebrew School students regarding her life being legally blind until age 35, and then losing the rest of her vision.  She lives an active, full life and will share with students her story as well as her book. Students will also participate in an activity to "see" what its like to have low vision.
