FUGITIVE COLORS author Lisa Barr to appear at Northbrook Public Library

International journalist and local resident Lisa Barr will discuss her award-winning historical fiction novel FUGITIVE COLORS at the Northbrook Public Library on Thursday, February 28 at 7:00 pm. The highly acclaimed FUGITIVE COLORS is a suspenseful tale of an artist’s revenge after World War II and the “Degenerate Art” banned by the Nazis.


 Lisa Barr has been featured in numerous media and has spoken to many organizations.  Recently, she was an honored guest at the Chicago Public Library Foundation’s annual Carl Sandburg Literary Awards Dinner as an author with links to Chicago and “someone who has made a contribution to our literary legacy.” Lisa Barr is also the creator and blogger of the popular website “GIRLilla Warfare: A Mom’s Guide to Surviving the Suburban Jungle” www.girlillawarfare.com.
