Northbrook Autumnfest: Free Family Fun


The fourth annual Northbrook Autumnfest welcomes all ages to Meadowhill Park on October 13 from 3-7pm. The free community event from the Northbrook Park District offers musical entertainment, the finals of Northbrook’s Talent Showdown, an I-Spy Trail Ride, costume and pumpkin contests, golf challenges, pumpkin chuckin’, a bonfire and s’mores, inflatables, carnival games, face painting, food vendors, and a teen climbing challenge. Main-stage entertainment includes 28 Days, a Chicago-based cover band; Istvan and his Imaginary Band, a kid-friendly country band; and Last Resort, winner of 2012 Rock the Green. Reds Garden Center is an event sponsor; Dairy Queen, Lou Malnati’s and Pinstripes will provide prizes.
