Community Corner
Perfectly Imprfct (oops!) Discussion Series 2
Many of us feel pressure to act as if our lives are perfect. We also long for deeper connection to others. In order to be more connected to others, to live with more courage, have more compassion for others, and pass these same traits onto our children we need to accept our vulnerability and learn how to live wholehearted lives. During the month of January, Northbrook United Methodist Church invites the community to explore ways we can let go of who we think we are supposed to be and embrace who we are. On Wednesday, January 30 at 7:00 PM we will discuss Brown’s book “The Gifts of Imperfection.” (You don’t have to read the book to participate). Please contact the church for child care.
