Heartland Animal Shelter’s holds its Sixth Golden Paw Gala to benefit the animals at the Northbrook shelter where everyone is a winner! Dogs are welcome too! Jeanne Sparrow and Melissa Forman from WCIU-You & Me This Morning Show will serve as special hosts at Heartland's largest fundraising event of the year: Saturday, November 10th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 2875 Milwaukee Ave. in Northbrook. Tickets will be $75 per person and $25 per dog prior to the event and $100 per person and $50 per dog at the door. Can't wait for the celebration? Create your online photo web page and join us at the Gala for the contest finale at  http://www.razoo.com/team/The-Golden-Paw-And-A-Cat-Emy-Awards.

Every dollar donated to your photo web page will be counted as a vote! Raise $250 or more for the animals at Heartland Animal Shelter and you will receive complementary Gala admissions for two! The canine who raises the most for the animals will win the prestigious Golden Paw Award, while a feline will win the esteemed A-cat-emy Award! Prizes will also be awarded for Best Dressed, Silliest Pose, Most Loveable Face and Biggest Smile. It takes just a few minutes where your valuable time can make the world of a difference for these innocent animals. During the evening at the Golden Paw Gala, felines who participate will be featured via their photograph on the big screen, while canines may appear in person on stage or via photograph on the big screen. Sponsorship opportunities and donations are being accepted at the shelter. Proceeds benefit Heartland Animal Shelter, a no-kill humane organization dedicated to finding homeless animals their forever homes while educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets in order to decrease pet overpopulation. Because Heartland is a 501(c)3 organization, all donations are tax deductible.
